Easiest Doughnuts Ever

1 8 count can of Biscuits (most are accidentally vegan)

Vegetable oil

icing

sprinkles

Fill a large pot with about 2-3 inches of vegetable oil. Heat the oil until it’s around 375 degrees (or until the end of a wooden spoon starts bubbling when you place it into the oil). Open the can of biscuits and separate them. Take a shot glass or an apple corer to make holes in the center of each biscuit. When the oil is hot enough to fry, carefully place the biscuits into the oil. Fry on each side for about 2-3 minutes or until nice and golden. When they are done, place them on a plate lined with paper towels. You can ice these easily with some store bought icing (make sure its vegan, several major brands are!) or you can whisk a couple tablespoons of plant based milk and ½ tsp. vanilla extract into 2 cups of powdered sugar to make your own. You can also top these with some melted chocolate, a maple glaze (2 cups powdered sugar with a couple tablespoons of maple syrup whisked together) plain powdered sugar or sugar and cinnamon for some varieties. Sprinkle the tops if you like with rainbow sprinkles or mini chocolate chips.
